As a black woman I struggled with the woes of people's negative opinions towards my hair. It was 'different' or 'nappy' and people looked down upon me. I was always told by my family and friends to celebrate that beauty. When I was older I stopped getting perms and started to grow my hair out natural, knowing it was nothing to be ashamed of. It's something to be celebrated and proud of. I'm happy to have these 'roots' and proud of myself now. I hope this sticker will inspire many to be happy about just being themselves. It's reason for celebrating!
